Wisconsin Day #1

We were really lucky to take a quick trip to Wisconsin this summer.  We have a lot of family there, and Emma had never been to visit (Rhett was only 1 the last time he was there).  It was a whirlwind weekend, but every moment was so special for the kids and me.  There are a lot of pictures to share, so this post is being split by the three days.

On the first day, we had an early morning flight to Milwaukee.  We had a short layover (stayed on the same plan), and the stewardess grabbed Rhett to let him go sit in the cockpit.

Emma got to help collect trash during the flight :)  It was pretty funny hearing her say "Do you have any trash?"

We went straight to my cousin Scott's house, and the kids bonded immediately.  Rhett and Tanner never stopped moving, and Lexi and Emma held hands everywhere they went!

Later, we went to my cousin Michelle's house.  She has three gorgeous children, and an awesome new house.  It was great to visit with lots of family at her house.

Here's Lexi, Ariah, and Emma (yes, the big girls thought it was "cute" to ride in the baby swings).  They especially liked it when the dad's would push them.

These boys thought it would be fun to ride on the little kid toys for while.  Here's Tanner, Rhett, and Aiden.

But, then they wanted me to take picture that made it look like they crashed.

A big thanks to my cousin Scott and his wife, Liz, for dealing with our changing travel plans and providing the perfect place for us to crash for a few days.  It was crazy and hectic, but so worth it.  You guys were excellent hosts, and we hope we can repay the favor.  And, a big thanks to Michelle for hosting the whole crew for dinner!  We loved getting to see your new house and your beautiful kids.  Thanks for having us, we miss you so much!
