Christmas Parade

The second grade students in Nederland were allowed to enter a basic art contest.  Just a normal sheet of paper with anything that goes along with the theme, Christmas in Nederland.  It had a very tight deadline, so I told Rhett that he was completely on his own if he wanted to do it.  Here was his submission.



And, he won!  The prize was to ride in the fire truck during the annual Christmas Parade.  So, we got to spend a good two hours inside the fire truck, and Rhett got learn about all of the fancy stuff on the inside.
