Christmas Season Stuff

Our church puts on a fabulous Live Nativity show for the entire community.  We love going each year, and some years we are able to help with the production.  This year, we were happy to be spectators and found some of our friends during the visit.  Each year, they have a set up where the kids can take pictures with Mary, Joseph, and the Baby Jesus.

During the show, I made to sure to explain to Emma that Christmas is really Jesus's birthday, and we can say CHRISTmas.  She looked at me so confused and said, "wait, I thought Christmas was God's birthday."  That was fun trying to explain, but it always amazes me how she comes up with these things, and they are things that Rhett has never asked about.

Their school also had a bunch of dress up days in the last week before Christmas.  One day was ugly sweater day, this was the best that I could find in Emma's size (Rhett didn't want to participate because he didn't approve of the "fit" of the sweater that I bought him).

Here are some pictures from our niece's birthday party that was in December.  The first one are of the girls with Makenzie.  They are obsessed with her, especially Emma, because she is on the high school drill team.

The party even had a fun photo booth.  Here are the girls with their cousin, Brooke (Emma really likes her too because she's about 2 years older)

And, here's just another cute photo for fun!
