7 Months

Emma Kate turned 7 months old today. I feel like she's really developed in the last two weeks. Her sitting has improved greatly, she's getting more sturdy in a standing position, and her hand coordination amazes me more and more each day. She LOVES playing with her feet. She tries really hard to get her toes in her mouth and is successful about 20% of the time. Her claim to fame is clapping her feet. She actually turns her feet inward so that they make a clapping sound. It is hilarious! We can always get her giggling if we blow raspberries on her belly or make silly faces.

So, I dressed her up for a little 7 month old home photo shoot...



Dresses are funny because she just can't keep her hands off of them...



Of course the big brother couldn't resist jumping in on the attention. As much as he gets jealous of attention given to Emma, his response is usually to jump in and get affectionate with her. Even in this picture, you can see that Rhett is more than willing to let Emma pull his hair (I know from experience that this hurts)...he's a good sport!
