Love Mud Pie Clothes for Emma

One of my favorite baby girls clothes lines is Mud Pie, but they do really weird sizing. So, after 6 months of NOT fitting their clothes, she can get back in them for spring/summer. And, since our weather has been AMAZING this week, it was a good time to start trying on some of her spring outfits.

I love this one...



The girl can't get enough "standing," but she really needs to learn to pull up to standing on her own.



On another note, every once in awhile Rhett will sit through an entire movie. When he does this, he gets really into the movie which means that when it ends, he starts crying. You would think he has an idea that the movie is coming to an end, but he always seems so surprised and upset that it's over. It's not a big deal when we're home, but it does cause a scene when we're at the movie theater and he starts crying when the credits come on the screen. Last weekend Shaun took Rhett to see Gnomeo and Juliet, and of course Shaun came home saying "he's the only that cries."

So, I got to thinking, this is just like his early days when I noticed he had difficulty accepting the times when we would change tasks (for instance, stop playing toys to get in the bath). At his 18 month check up, the doctor told me that this is normal, and we should give him 2 minute warnings prior to changes because it will help. I guess he will start needing a 2 minute warning on movies too!
