More Turks and Caicos

Here are a few more pictures from our trip. I can't believe that our big vacation has come and gone. It's grueling trying to get back into the swing of things, but it is wonderful to be with the kids again!

These are the conch shells that we got on our boat trip. It was a 5-hour trip that involved snorkeling, conch diving, visiting a deserted island, eating our fresh-caught conch salad, and diving off the boat's diving board. It was the perfect excursion for us especially since the Captain's name was Shaun (spelled the exact same way).

This was also taken during the boat excursion. The two ladies in this picture visit every year, and every year they take a ride with Captain Shaun.

Here is the backside view of our resort The West Bay Club. Our suite was on the bottom left. We loved everything about The West Bay Club!

One of the few pictures that we got together. This was also at our resort, and we followed up this carb-filled breakfast with a VERY long walk on the beach!

One of the best things about our resort was that each suite had a fully equipped kitchen. Not only did we have a dining table in the room, but our porch had a table as well. Of course we couldn't resist an opportunity to eat dinner on our porch during sunset. Oh, and this was a big change for us since our honeymoon days. It was nice to be able to cook without the interruptions of children, so we actually ate in our room most of the time!

Shaun became a legend when he hooked this lion fish during his fishing trip. Apparently, this NEVER happens and all the boats' captains and workers had never heard of anyone catching one of these!

We were a little nervous about the rain in the weather forecast. But, the rain was never significant enough to put a damper on the day. It was amazing to see this perfect rainbow.

The bulk of our pictures were of the scenery. These provide a good overview of our surroundings...
