Halloween Sneak Peek

For as much as I LOVE shopping for the kids, I actually don't enjoy shopping for Halloween costumes.  It is so hard to find exactly what I want, and now that there are two kids, I kind of like there to be a theme (well, at least there is always the dilemma as to whether or not they should be coordinated).  Also, I am not really a fan of those super hero costumes, but I swear if the kids ever really insisted, I would give in and let them be super heroes.

Anyway, I frequently browse the zulily website (basically an online sample sale of sorts for kids), and one day they had a section called dress up clothes.  Needless to say, I found matching costumes for the kids in the correct sizes for a bargain deal!  So, yes, I ordered their Halloween costumes for 2012 a couple of months ago.  The bad part is that the kids stare longingly at these costumes and can't wait for the day that they can wear them.

Since my mom was in town and because Rhett and I coincidentally had just returned from seeing Pirates, the Band of Misfits movie, I let them try them on.  So, without further ado, I present my pirates!
