Wedding Fun!

We had a great time at Katie and Aubrey's wedding in Austin this past weekend. Even though it was a lot of driving in two days, Rhett did a great job in the car. He wasn't thrilled about having to sit still during the wedding, so Shaun and Rhett spent the majority of the ceremony in the back with the other little kids roaming around the property. The best part was watching Rhett on the dance floor. It was like he just couldn't stop dancing, and he was not shy at all. It was so funny, and he just couldn't stay away from the dance floor. Even when he was about to fall asleep, he insisted on being held by anyone that was dancing. We had a fabulous babysitter take care of Emma at our house, and they had a great time too!

There have been a lot of adjustments in our lives these past couple of days. The kids have started going to Ms. Kindra's house during the day. She watches several kids out of her home. In addition to adjusting to being away from home, Rhett is also adjusting to school. Things are going well, but it's been hectic getting everything coordinated. It will be nice when these changes will feel more like routine for everyone. Rhett seems to like being at Ms. Kindra's, and Emma is happy and her needs seem to be met. We're still keeping an eye out for a good nanny so that we can get the kids back in the house on a day-to-day basis, so we're taking recommendations if anyone knows someone!!
