8 Months

Emma is officially 8 months old! She is sitting for long periods of time, and I feel comfortable leaving her by herself in carpeted areas. She's rolling in all directions, but she's not crawling yet. She loves to eat (can you tell??). I haven't had her refuse any baby food for a couple of months. She's working on eating Gerber Puffs, and she's already mastered Yogurt Melts and Mum Mums. When she gets her sippy cup, she figures out how to drink her juice about 50% of the time. She makes a distinctive "dadada" sound, and she will start clapping for anything and everything. Lately, she gets really excited when the Wiggles are on TV, and she will usually start clapping her hands when it comes on. She's been battling perforated ear drums for the last week, so she's had a few rough days, but we're crossing our fingers that this new medicine will kick in quickly. The good thing is that she is easily distracted from her pain if there are little kids around to play with. And, check out her new hairdo...
