Tonight we hopped in the car with Grammy to look at Christmas lights. Our final destination was a house that decorates front-to-back. Literally, their entire outside is set up, and you get out of your car to walk through the various areas. So, by chance there was a Santa with no line, by chance we actually had our camera with us, by chance there was no professional photographer linked to this Santa (note that the 3 other Santas we checked out this year all had professional pictures only), and by chance BOTH of my kids were actually excited to sit on his lap.
So, without further ado....
Here's Rhett carefully thinking about what he wants for Christmas (thankfully, he kept his request the same as last weekend)...
Emma took some time to warm up to him. She just stared at him expressionless for awhile...
But, then he helped her clap her hands, and she finally turned her head toward the camera.
Nothing like a good old family picture around the holidays.
